I need easy flowers and plants to put in an entrance walkway?

Ofcourse there is nothing but weeds in it right now but I would like to put something in there that is easy to maintain that can resist alot of direct sun. We’re in Texas and temps can get up to 105. There is not a Costco in my city or state. There IS a Sam’s club, but I’m not sure how their prices compare. I live in Oklahoma City, just FYI. That’s one of the reasons I was hoping I could order via the internet.
