Exotic Flowers?

PC asked:
I am looking for a flower that’s from Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and/or India. Its not a specific flower. I just want a flower that’s normally from this area. It can be a flower, a flowering bush, or a flowering tree. Just a flower from those areas.

I’m bored of being bored asked:
I have to do an experiment to compare the effects of different substances in the water of cut flowers, to see how long they will survive. eg. one will have bleach, another will have lemon juice. etc. the experiment will have to be conducted over one week. so I need flowers that once cut, will die in about 6-7 days. does any of yous know ones that will suit?

How did flowers evolve on both trees and plants?

Dallas M asked:
Both Trees and small plants evolved flowers. My question is which came first, the tree or the flower. If trees evolved first, then I would expect to see no flowers on trees at all, or flowers that are dramatically different from those in plants. If plants evolved flowers before trees, then I would expect to see all, or most, trees to have bright colorful flowers. So how is it that only a few trees have flowers, but small plants have flowers as well?
I am not asking to prove a religious point. I am honestly asking for curiosity sake.

I’m looking for flowers for bouquets, decorations, and centerpieces. Would like to know some good flowers, preferably some I could order online and make my own arrangements. I’m getting married in May, so I’m looking for flowers that would be in bloom at that time. Thanks!
